DVD drive?

I have a DVD drive thing on my computer, and used to play my DVD fine. I did not use it for some time, and only recently, when he tried to play DVD's again, not let me for some reason. Not even recognize they have a DVD inside. Is there some configuration that I need to mess with, or break my drive somehow? If it broke, what is the best / easiest way to fix? Thanks in advance for any help:) I Cyberlink PowerDVD to play my DVDs back when I was working. That the update from 5.1 to 5.7 solve this problem? They are also films that I bought, so why not at work, not because they are burned copies.

I had the exact same problem and was not a hardware failure. I do not play much and movies it took me a while to realize it was a malfunction. All I had done to my team that I thought, was to improve my Media Player to version 10. I went to the website of the manufacturer of the DVD and have the latest drivers and installed them. It solved the problem.

hard drive?

I recently purchased a hard cover of my laptop, so I could transfer files from my portable drive to my PC, because my laptop does not work. When I plug the hard disk and the cover on my PC, it connects, but can not find the new hard drive in my computer. Any ideas? Also, when I go to disk management, does not arise. and the hard drive is working, I can hear the disk spinning and the blue light comes on, showing that the disk is connected hard. the hard disk appears in BIOS

probably the reason behind this is your external hard drive needs to be installed .. or possibly your motherboard doesnot portable hard drive widespread support. check that … doesnot if things work out … then connect your laptop to your PC with a LAN cable to configure p2p network and connect the hard drive on your PC … and transfer of files … good luck
